FACE Lyrics English Translation by ATEEZ
The generation you always hear about on the news
It’s like a phantom
A word whose face and reality you can’t see
This feeling, they won’t know
Break all the false rules (Break it all)
You people in power, shut it now (Shut it now)
This fight that seems like it’ll never end
Somewhere in the middle of it all
Our sparks will fly
“Stop just dreaming all the time”
That’s what they say as they ignore us
If that’s the kind of world it is
Gotta shock ’em awake, yeah
We can’t end up as blank slates
Can’t you hear me? My heart’s screaming
Even if we’re ignored
We’re gonna make them say “Whoa”
Lift your head up
We’re not anybody yet
It’s a world someone’s gonna turn upside down
We dream on
Yeah, we move on
Look at this face, no fake
Even if someone glares at you
Don’t lose your dazzling dream
In the middle of this battlefield where we fight to take things
We’ll win our dream, high
This game where they rank us (Game)
We’re being held down by the world
Screw just adapting
‘Cause I’m the main character
Mocking even the sweat we shed
Must be because you’re actually
Scared of us, right?
Carrying these hard-to-define feelings
Keep on dreaming, keep on singing
If you turn to look back
It’s still not too late
Lend me your ear
The hope that the adults dropped
We wanna pick it up for you
We dream on
Yeah, we move on
Look at this face, no fake
Don’t be trapped by illusions
That don’t even exist, just look at us
Remember your old dreams
That feeling you forgot
Remember it now, and head to the future
Oh, yeah
Face this way, face to face
Find our way, with you and me
As one, we got to stand together
It’s getting better
Face this way, face to face
We’ll shake you up
And now, you see who we are
We dream on
Yeah, we move on
Look at this face, no fake
