"2002" by BKTHERULA lives inside a night where luxury and forgetting blur together. White gold flashes, expensive tequila pours, and the club becomes a place to pull lovers away from whoever brought them. The repeated promise that tomorrow will not remember this turns the whole scene into a dare, a refusal to let consequences catch up. Even a bad day gets handed to the DJ, as if music can reset everything. The song wants pleasure to feel endless and ownership to feel effortless, even when it is only borrowed for one song.
2002 Lyrics by BKTHERULA

Summer spent in taxi cabs
Flex my wrist on yo ass
Tomorrow don’t remember this
