Gnezdo orlovo Lyrics English Translation by Breskvica
Spring brought the sun
Behind the hills, everything blossomed
On the plain, an apple grows
Unripe, it falls from the branch with a strong cry
A gray cloud hides the sky, black birds again
It thunders, it flashes, hail falls, and the eagle’s nest collapses
Eagle’s nest
Collapses the eagle’s nest
Eagle’s nest
Awake morning, the night is tired
The apple on the grass, sad and somber
Blooming again, sending down roots
And just as it takes a ray of sunshine, here comes a huge shadow
A gray cloud hides the sky, black birds again
It thunders, it flashes, hail falls, and the eagle’s nest collapses
Dad tells the little eagle, “It will be over, son”
The black birds will go away, it will be clear again
My dear, my dear, it will be clear again
My dear, my dear, everything will be over
My dear, hey, hey, hey
My dear, my dear, everything will be alright
