FLO

The British girl group FLO was formed in 2019 and signed with Island Records. The group consists of three members: Renée Downer, Stella Quaresma, and Jorja Douglas, who perform in the pop and R&B genres.

They rose to fame with their single “Cardboard Box,” released in March 2022, which gained significant popularity on social media. Later that year, they released their debut EP, The Lead.

In December 2022, FLO became the first girl group to top the BBC’s “Sound of…” poll and also received the Brit Rising Star award.

In 2023, they released the song “Fly Girl” featuring Missy Elliott, which became their most successful track to date. By November 2024, they had released their debut album Access All Areas in collaboration with GloRilla.

With their harmonic sound and unique style, FLO has captured the attention of younger audiences and is recognized as a pioneer in their genre. Drawing inspiration from successful girl groups of the past, they have created a bridge between generations of music, encouraging young artists to blend genres and reimagine classic sounds in fresh, modern ways.
