Kendrick Lamar is one of the most acclaimed rappers of his generation, praised for his complex lyricism and genre-blending albums that tackle weighty themes. Born in Compton, California in 1987, Lamar broke out in 2011 with his first album Section.80, showcasing his technical rapping skills.
