Oxxxymiron

Oxxxymiron (real name Miron Yanovich Fyodorov) is a Russian hip-hop artist, poet, and public figure. He is one of the most commercially successful and influential hip-hop artists in Russia, and his albums The Wandering Jew (2011) and Gorgorod (2015) are considered by critics to be two of the most important releases in Russian rap history.

Oxxxymiron was born in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) on January 31, 1985. He began rapping in his early teens, and his early work was heavily influenced by American hip-hop artists such as Nas and Eminem. In 2008, he co-founded the record label Vagabund with two other Russian rappers, Schokk and Tommy Cash. The label released two albums, Vagabund (2010) and Rap vs. Rap (2011), before disbanding in 2012.
