U2

Irish rock band U2 formed in Dublin in 1976 and has since become one of the most successful and influential bands of all time. The band consists of Bono (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), the Edge (lead guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen Jr. (drums and percussion).

U2 have sold over 150 million records worldwide and have won 22 Grammy Awards, more than any other rock band. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.

The band is known for their anthemic rock songs, their social activism, and their live performances. Some of their most popular songs include “Pride (In the Name of Love)”, “Where the Streets Have No Name”, “With or Without You”, “One“, and “Beautiful Day”.
