MAYHEM is Lady Gaga’s seventh studio album, set to be released on March 7, 2025, featuring 14 tracks. On February 18, 2025, Gaga shared the tracklist on social media, alongside singles like “Die With A Smile” (a collaboration with Bruno Mars) and “Disease,” both released before the full album.
Along with the album’s release, rumors about Gaga’s personal life, including her relationship with Michael Polansky and its influence on the romantic songs of the album (such as “Vanish Into You” and “LoveDrug”), circulated in the media.
The overall style of MAYHEM can be described as a blend of Dance-Pop, Electronic, and Synth-Pop.
In a February 2025 interview with Vogue, Gaga shared:
“MAYHEM feels like coming home to me, to that raw energy I had when I made The Fame. I wanted to tap into that fearless vibe again, but with everything I’ve learned over the years. This album is about letting myself go and letting my fans join me in the chaos.”
She also posted on Instagram:
“MAYHEM is about embracing the chaos of life, whether it’s in my heart or in the world. Every song is a piece of me that broke, rebuilt itself, and is now dancing. I hope when you listen, you find yourself in this mess.”
