POR EL EX NO SE LLORA Lyrics English Translation by Luck Ra
She hit me up, the brunette
Right around Saturday noon
Said her girl just broke it off
And needed to dance away the gloom
That girl’s name? Maria
Heartbreak on the line
And to help her start the healing
She wanted to go out and shine
We don’t cry over exes
Tonight, we drink instead
To fix a broken heart
Fernet done right, no regrets
We don’t cry over exes
Tonight, we drink instead
So he knows just what he lost—
No, I won’t shed a tear
Sorry baby
And if moving on’s the game—
Goodbye papi
I’m out with my girls, drink in hand
Tonight we’re making plans
One shot pulls out the pain
And I’ll drive in a new flame
You’ll see me with someone else
In the middle of the floor
Getting nasty like a wild one
I’m giving you your final score
Like a savage on the loose
It’s your funeral tonight
I’ll pay my tribute right
You played your role
A whole damn character
No laser or cover
Can erase my inked chapter
We don’t cry over exes
Tonight, we drink instead
To fix a broken heart
Fernet done right, no regrets
We don’t cry over exes
Tonight, we drink instead
So he knows just what he lost—
We don’t cry over exes
No more tears to drop
To fix a broken heart
We’re pouring one more shot
We don’t cry over exes
Tonight, we drink instead
To fix a broken heart
Fernet done right, no regrets
We don’t cry over exes
Tonight, we drink instead
So he knows just what he lost
