El Agujero Lyrics English Translation by Luis R Conriquez & Gabito Ballesteros
With great eagerness, since I was a kid, they used to humiliate me
It was my turn, I jumped into the ring
Right now, here on the border where I pass through
Everyone knows I cut the cheese
When I passed by, they didn’t pay attention when I worked
And now they talk to me, but I don’t respond
And to get to me isn’t a piece of cake, ’cause I have people
You have to deal with them first
Proudly along the border
In his well-polarized truck, he moves around
He doesn’t back down from anyone, straight as an arrow
By the way, he’s known as the one from the border
No matter how much they search, want, or try
They won’t find my whereabouts
The one who laughs and betrays me gets heated
Because we send them to the hole
I handle material, graduated from school
I don’t believe anything they say
Good times with my brother, who’s not present
But we remember him daily
Proudly along the border
In his well-polarized truck, he moves around
He doesn’t back down from anyone, straight as an arrow
By the way, he’s known as the one from the border
