La Supuesta Cita Lyrics English Translation by Luis R Conriquez ft. Alfredo Olivas
Confidently, I arrive without haste, the supposed date
Rather, it was a trap, I was already expecting them
Bullets trembling, triggers with fear
And those who shook because of mistrust
Or maybe doubted what they were doing
“Sir, they’re shooting at us”
“Duck, folks
If you can, respond”
“Boss, they spotted me
My gun jammed”
“Don’t give in
Fight to the death
Whether we lose or win
We’re already deep into it
But we must not leave
Our town to fate”
“Hit them with the car, or
We lose our lives
Life or death
Death doesn’t wait
Hope is all we have left
We either lie down
Or shoot bullets
We’re not armored”
“Machine 6-1
Get us out of this tight spot
Or we’ll fall behind”
They tried to disrespect, treacherous dogs
They didn’t do anything to me, I still hold the territory
I won’t give up the last breath for anything
With the last bullet, I defend the ground
That my people and I fought for so long
We take care of each other as brothers, that’s why an armored vehicle
Patrolled the area, I’m here, saddled
The 50 embedded, buddy, you say
Locate that scoundrel
I want to bring him to justice, just so he knows his place
The 6 surpassed the 4, more lives than a cat
More courage than luck, it only sleeps on him
And they no longer count, thanks to them
To all my people, from the aggressors
They took to the hills, but coming back, they won’t return
