Surprise Lyrics English Translation by MeloMance
Thinking of the smile you’ll have
I stopped by that flower shop I remembered
Looking up the meaning of flowers that say “I promise my love”
With a single pink rose in hand
And a letter with all my heart written down
I got everything ready—and now I’m waiting
With a flower I picked out today
And a letter that ends with “I love you”
Not some typical holiday, but a day that might feel even better—
A surprise for just us, on an ordinary day
I see a silhouette I know so well
And worry this little celebration
Might not go as planned
My heart’s racing, just a little
I take a deep breath
And quietly sneak up, trying not to be seen
All ready, I ran to you
With a flower I picked out today
And a letter that ends with “I love you”
Not some typical holiday, but a day that might feel even better—
A surprise for just us, on an ordinary day
With gifts I had hidden away
The moment I saw you
I wrapped you up in a big hug from behind
Hoping to catch you off guard
I thought I was almost there
But you turned around, totally unaware
Our secret plan got blown—my little party ruined
But you’re smiling so brightly right now
And seeing that, I couldn’t help but smile too
A surprise for just us, on an ordinary day
