John Mayer has captivated fans once again with the release of his latest album ‘The Select‘, on January 25. The album features 16 tracks, most of which showcase Mayer’s songwriting talent.
The single “Ends Of The Earth”, which was previously released on October 18, 2024, is quickly climbing the charts among the country’s hottest songs on Billboard.
Additionally, other tracks from this album, including Tie That Binds, Drinkin’ Alone, But Me, Too Far Gone, Let ’Em Talk, and Worry is a Sickness, were also released prior to the album’s debut.
Regarding the choice of the album title, which was inspired by a novel by Ernest Hemingway, Mayer says: “The album title, The Select, comes from Hemingway’s first novel, The Sun Also Rises. In it, the characters hang out at a bar called Le Select to escape their worries. That’s what I want people to do when they listen to my album.”

His accomplishments include collaborations with Narvel Blackstock and Starstruck Entertainment, as well as sharing the stage with artists like Willie Nelson and Cody Johnson.
He draws inspiration from legends such as George Strait, Otis Redding, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
