Extra Lyrics English Translation by Yyeon
Maybe I walked too fast
If our story was a movie
I guess I was just an extra passing by
A day goes by, then a few weeks go by
The seasons change
Even the seat beside you, the one I thought would always be mine
Has been taken by someone else
My role was to hurt you
But our script shouldn’t have ended there
Maybe we were wrong for each other from the start
Maybe I walked too fast
If our story was a movie
I guess I was just an extra passing by
You’re always pretty and beautiful, so you suit the lead role
While I’m ugly and unattractive, a supporting character to lift you up
You’re the main character of my life
I’m just a spotlight in yours
I lit you up during your dark times and then I left
We might not see each other now
And I might just be a passerby in your story
But don’t laugh, let’s just shake hands
Because we ended pretty well
Let’s turn away, like a curtain call after the movie’s over
Because our story was beautiful
Even if the ending’s a little regrettable
We were never meant to be from the start, right?
Because our story is over now
Even if the ending’s a little regrettable
Let’s not look back, let’s just let each other go
Maybe we were wrong for each other from the start
Maybe I walked too fast
If our story was a movie
I guess I was just an extra passing by
Flying over this faded city
Maybe searching for a meaningless universe
I need to take one more step, just two more steps
And leave this world behind
Maybe we were wrong for each other from the start
Maybe I walked too fast
If our story was a movie
I guess I was just an extra passing by
