About Are You Even Real
Teddy Swims’ new song, “Are You Even Real,” was released on January 10th. Recently, Teddy shared the exciting news that he and his fiancée are expecting their first child, but before that big moment, he also dropped a brand new track.
On December 30, 2024, Teddy posted a teaser for the song and invited his fans to guess who he had collaborated with on it. Fans threw out a lot of names, but Teddy later confirmed that the artist joining him on this track is Gavin.
Gavin, who gained recognition after teaming up with Drake on “Chicago Freestyle,” released his album Give or Take in 2022, which made it to #11 on the U.S. charts. He also featured on the hit song “Peaches” with Justin Bieber, which soared to #2 on the charts.
Teddy’s new track is a pop song that dives into the doubts someone in love might have about their partner’s feelings and whether the love and relationship they’re in are real or not. As Teddy sings at the beginning of the song: “Are you even real, or did I make you up?”
