Blueface, an American rapper born as Johnathan Jamall Porter in January 1997, gained fame in October 2018 when his offbeat style of rapping in the music video “Respect My Cryppin'” became a viral meme, leading to his signing with Cash Money West the following month; his most successful single, a remix of “Thotiana” featuring Cardi B and YG, peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2019, and in 2020, he released his debut studio album titled “Find the Beat.”
