Metric

Metric is a Canadian indie rock band formed in Toronto in 1998.
The band consists of Emily Haines (vocals, synths), James Shaw (guitar, synths), Joshua Winstead (bass, synths) and Joules Scott-Key (drums).
Metric has released 8 studio albums, including the critically acclaimed Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? (2003) and Fantasies (2009).
They have won numerous awards, including the Juno Award for Group of the Year in 2010.
